Zoo La La is a brand new fundraising event for Peoria Zoological Society!
We invite our guests to migrate around the Africa! exhibit while enjoying the following:
Fine Food
Enjoy appetizers including mini beef Wellington, tuna tatare, crab cakes, goat cheese stuffed pepadews, charcuterie tray, and baked brie. Dinner food stations feature smoked prime rib, sliced chicken, potatoes, grilled vegetables and dessert. Food catered by Two25.
Libations
Signature cocktails, wine and beer are included in the ticket price. Mixed drinks are available for purchase. This event is for age 21 and over.
Entertainment
Start the evening with music from Asbury Fox followed by the African drumming of Garry Moore, a live Emu Egg carving demonstration and a dazzling show by fire spinners. Finally, dance the evening away with Dexter O’Neal and Funk Yard.
Experiences
Hear stories about our animals from their keepers, get up-close and personal with education animals, and make enrichment treats for the animals to enjoy! Add on a pre-event animal encounter with the lions, giraffes, or the tortoise.
Silent Auction/Raffle
Bid on a variety of auction items using an online auction system and purchase raffle tickets for a beautiful diamond necklace!
Check-In and Parking
Choose the VIP ticket and receive designated parking in the adjacent parking lot and reserved seating in the air-conditioned Zambezi River Lodge. All other guests will park within Glen Oak Park and have open seating within the Africa! village. Check-In closes at 6:30pm.
Migration
Zoo La La will use the natural flow of Africa! and your journey will start as you wander toward the giraffe deck which overlooks Africa. From there, roam down the boardwalk to the lion exhibit and finally, migrate to the African Village and Zambezi River Lodge! Throughout the journey, you'll enjoy the fine food, libations, entertainment, and experiences that are listed above.
